What is detoxification?
There are eleven systems in the body and five of them are used for cleansing and elimination of toxins. The body produces toxins naturally as a result of metabolic processes. Every 5 minutes, scientists have calculated, we produce enough internal toxins to kill a small animal.Our world is burdened with toxins such as food additives, perfumes, air pollution, pesticides, insecticides, and others. The CDC found more than 100 toxic chemicals in blood and urine samples.
How do I know I need to detox?

What can I do on a daily basis to detox?
By far, the best solution for detoxification is avoidance, avoidance, and more avoidance. Colon cleansing can be helpful as it improves digestion and eliminates old waste. A high fiber diet can be beneficial here. Deeper cleansing using of liver, lymph, and kidneys is often necessary.
Do I need a doctor’s guidance to detox?
Detoxification is costly to the body. Releasing toxins can be dangerous if done improperly.
Dr. Wendy Wells will design a cleansing program for your unique body and lifestyle. Our Environmental Questionnaire is available to help determine the sources of your toxic exposure. She may prescribe a colon cleanse, a liver cleanse, a detox diet, specific IV nutrient therapy or FIR sauna therapy.
