What is chronic fatigue syndrome?

CFS is often diagnosed when a person has persistent debilitating fatigue that does not get better with sleep.

How can I treat it naturally?

The body is wise and trying to convey to you, using the language of “symptoms”, that something you are doing is not agreeing with it.  Dr. Wells will help figure out what your body is saying and correct the problems.  Dr. Wells will first determine the underlying cause(s).  There are many imbalances that can lead to CFS, namely adrenal fatigue, thyroid hypofunction, chronic viruses, poor nutrition, poor absorption, food intolerances, immune deficiency or immune toxicity.  Blood work or other specialty testing may be needed to confirm the underlying causes.  Then treatment can begin.

How long before I feel better?

Every patient is unique and healing happens faster for some than others.  Treatment protocols usually last from 3 – 6 months to heal the underlying cause.  Most notice improvements within a week or two.

What’s involved in natural treatment?

It is likely Dr. Wells will have you change your diet in some way.  Some natural treatments such as herbs, vitamins, minerals, IV therapyFar infrared sauna therapy, Constitutional hydrotherapy or Acupuncture may be needed.
